An exposed brick wall and bare filament bulb kind of life.

22nd July 2017

My Mum died earlier this year and it had quite a profound effect on my life, quite a natural reaction I suspect but I  made the decision to move out of my studio in London, where I’d been for a VERY long time and move full time to the Isle of Wight. We have had a house on the Island for over a decade but it suddenly seemed right to move down permanently.  To me, it was a big move, physically & mentally. I think you get ‘institutionalised’ living in London and feel that you couldn’t survive anywhere else…”How will I live without exposed brick walls, bare filament bulbs and complimentary copies of OH COMELY magazine” was a quote that summed it all up for me, but hashtag lo-and-behold, that all happens here too!

A period of reinvention ensued and the creative juices continue to flow. The basics are now all sorted including the studio space, the website, the business cards, the networking and the looking at the sea but now for the hard work, so, watch this space for updates on the new course schedule which will include: Basic Photography & Styling, An Introduction to Lightroom, Felting, Woodworking, Illustration and Botanical Creativity…for a start! All courses will be held at Studio 63, Northwood House and Park, Cowes, Isle Of Wight. If you’d like to know more please use the “Contact Me” page.

Now…..as for the Prop Shop….coming soon.
